I only know of one church car once owned/operated by the CMStP&P. The pictures show the interior of the Catholic church car that was in Nevada City Montana in the mid 70’s. I was lucky enough to get in the car and take photographs. My thanks to Charles M Bovey.

Micro Trains Lines released the N scale “The Church Car” . I have created an approximate interior for the Catholic Church Car. You will see the alter rail surrounding the worship area. Also, I have included a pedal organ on the left side of the car, the alter as well as the opening for the confessional. I hope you enjoy the photos, and the model will be available on my web site NScaleTrainParts.com.

This is a HO scale device. In Montana and Eastern Idaho the Milwaukee Railroad used creosote treated poles for trolley support on the electrified regions. When they crossed a long bridge, Blacktail Trestle outside of Butte, Montana for example, these devices were riveted on the side of the bridge to support the trolley poles. See Trolley Pole Group for the poles.

Please note: Because of the scale these are fragile. I tried to leave enough clearance so the poles would fit, however it is your responsibility to be sure not to force pole into the stirrup. I have added a sprue to connect the supports into one model, Lightly sand the sprue away after cutting the extra material away from the support. Also, be sure to wash the parts with a mild mixture of dish soap before attempting to paint. I hope you enjoy the model.
